Manually set Zero
Trying to enter ina zero point manually. Im new to this. I have a shapeoko XXL (using carbide motion) and am running 80 of the same inlays on the same size wood. I set up a corner jig on my table so the pieces will always be in the same place. When I turned the tool on and initialize it (in the far ...

I cant restart the job from where it left off. I have to reinitialize the machine and start from the be...

How to square shapeoko xxl
I bought this thing after Christmas and love it. Super easy to put together! I did run into a square problem while making a wasteboard. I did the 2" grid of t-nuts version of a wasteboard. So to do this I worked from the back side of my wasteboard first. Drilling holes through the board at a 2" grid...

Can I make a waste board larger then cnc work area
Ive seen videos on how to make a wasteboard with a 2" grid of t-nuts but smaller then the 33x33 cutting area of an XXL. I would like to make one the full 42"x40" that comes with the machine. I understand that my projects cant be larger than 33x33. My thoughts is If I have t-nut holes outside the wor...

Thinking about getting a shapeoko but want to make sure I can do this inlay
Thinking of getting a shapeoko to mainly do these inlays but want to get your guys opinions. I see a lot of people using the vcarve technique, but dont think it would work with these because I would want three or more different colors. So I would think I would use just a standard 1/8 or 1/16" straig...
