Re: "Hi I'm Zach the founder of Inventables ... "

+1 to Zach for having a ton of integrity and being forthright with the problem. We wouldn't be building these if they didn't spend lots of time and hard work to make them available.

LibreCAD

Anyone tried LibreCAD? I'm going to try it out based an a friend's suggestion and found a couple simple tutorials on youtube. Any advice might be very helpful. I'm about a year into 3d modeling with HeeksCAD and OpenSCAD, but 2D is just more to learn. First lessons I'm starting with, the narrator is...

Re: Open source design 3d Model.

Hi, I was able to get all of my needed dimensions to research expanding the design from the STEP file available in threads here and on the wiki. In searching for it, I considered that since this is design that hasn't shipped yet, they might be finalizing all of the details. As with all things open-s...

Re: Reprap Toolchain

I'll see what it can do. A friend of mine loves CAMBAM, so he can give me some gcode to try out. I currently run RAMPS 1.4 on both of my printers, but others in my hackerspace run Sanguinololu as well. I would be too on one machine, but do to some bad entries of MOSFETS in the kit BOM a few months b...

Reprap Toolchain

I've had a blown out mosfet line on my Sanguinololu electronics for some time, and so i figure I'll be a bit opportunistic and use it to run the Shapeoko. I've also never used the milling/cutting profiles on Skeinforge and so this seems like a perfect time to experiment. So my workflow will be: 3D M...

User Enraged found this link to the github. You can download the STEP file there and get dimensions.

Re: Expanding the ShapeOko community by a bunch

Still looking for a dimensional drawing or file to reference the end plates. I still haven't found anything on the wiki or main site.

Re: Design Files

Thanks Edward,

I've been looking and my trail ended here: http://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/File:S5.JPG

I am most likely looking in the wring spot, but this is where my intuition took me.
