Just like most of u guys, I did try to come up with DIY mid-span support but my worry was that it might be tricky getting the entire thing rigid and to a point where it stays clean and out of everything's way. Since these are al-ready to go and have been used ...

Re: 900x1800 Shapeoko reBuild - Old + New

Looking good Kirk! Quick question for you. How important is the torsion box? I'm doing a large format shapeoko and this is my first cnc machine and I am learning a lot "the hard way". I'm in the process of reinforcing my X axis and I'm wondering if I should build a torsion box while my machine is t...

So i took the original one apart and attempted to make it bigger without having to do too many complicated things. Almost ...

Detailed - SubForum Structure For Upgrades/Hacking

Hello guys when looking into upgrades on the wiki - its seems the upgrades are all so doable - but when it comes time to execute and you jump onto the forum to see what is possible and what others have done. It takes some leg work just to find that as they are all over under assembly, Build logs and...

Eccentric Spacer Placement (Shown)

I just thought this might be helpful in some manner, hopefully this can be added to the wiki if possible. Eccentric Spacer can be confusing since it doesn't fit Right away in some cases (such as after paint) hence making one confused as to how it goes. http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/b513/jcprop...
