How hot is hot?
touchable by hand?

General speaking electrical motors can run up to ~100C but hotter than that and the magnets inside the motors will permanently lose its magnetism.

1. you should do two .nc file, one for the v-carving and one for the straight bit.

2. Best way to zero the machine is with limit switches that you can use for homing the machine.

Tried searching for makercase but did not get a match for that so now my question is if anyone tried it?

Seems like an easy software to use and create custom boxes with.

It would be easier if you posted your TinyG conf here($$ via a terminal window) and the specifications of your stepper motors etc.

Looks like my old problem with unshielded wires, bought high quality shielded wires and my problems where solved.

The motors and rotary tools(like dremels) generate a huge amount of EMF that can create erratic behavior.
