Re: shared projects?
Really? REALLY? Thanks for bumping my want to create stuff up a magnitude. I don't have neither the time to do this kind of stuff nor the discipline NOT to. Thanks. I think

Catalin still around...?
Hi guys, It's been several years since I was here last and now I was thinking of upgrading my machine with the MegaRail that Catalin came up with a few years back (as it would seem it is not possible to buy the profiles used for the Shapeoko 3 separately). However - I just realized that his last upd...

Um... What on earth makes you think it is a good idea to take each and every one of your posts in this thread and edit them to remove content? You don't find that exceptionally improper?

Re: UGS Platform - macros?
Aha! The fact that you managed to create one made me look at it again, and NOW I get how to define the macro. Thanks for the push

UGS Platform - macros?
I've been toying with UGS platform and I see an amazing potential in this software for me. I'm curious about the macro functionality though; is it just me that's doing something wrong or is this not implemented yet?

Feed hold/resume - grounded pins from the start?
Might be a stupid quiestion, but it plays into how I wire up my lighted switch for feed hold/resume. Will GRBL work if pin A2 (resume) is shorted to GND 99% of the time? The reason I ask is that I have a lighted on/off switch and I was thinking of connecting light on to pin A1 and light off to pin A...

Re: Endmill size not quite as expected
Yeah, definetely the former as I cut soft plastic
First time it's happened to me, and it kind of drives home how far (at least my in brain) one trust the specifications. Good idea with the slotting first, I'll steal that!

Endmill size not quite as expected
I cut a few pieces tonight with a 2mm/1 flute end mill and was surprised that the inner diameter of my holes were off. I expected 3.35mm but got 2.8-2.9mm. I ran a few tests and it took a while to come to the conclusion that the specified end mill diameter might be wrong. I took out my digital calip...
