what are you planning on cutting that will be that size to begin with? i plan on making flat pack furniture and the most common dimension for flat sheets material in Aus is 2400x1200mm so i wanted to be able to cut the full 1200 that is why it will be 1500 wide. i felt 2400 long was just to long so...

another rookie error tightened wires from stepper motor too tight and severed the wire at the joiner.

noob error on y axis paired the green and black wire from the same stepper motor. also switched the z and x and i think i may have a faulty stepper motor

i just received my shapeoko 2 and I'm currently testing the electronics. My x and Y are not working properly and i have configured the GRBL. the x doesnt work at all and the y shutters.

please help i want to get cutting!

do you know if there is an eta on the open rail and where do you get it from because all websites I've looked at are out of all stock.

is there any other options to increase the dimensions?
