Grbl 1.1 Config Documentation
Hey chamnit, I am on the G1.1 page (the new one) and am in the configuration area near the bottom. There's a paragraph which is not jiving with what I understand the settings to be and was wondering, am I missing something, or is this bad info? "Tweak your $11x acceleration and $12x max rate setting...

Now THAT was scary. So many examples of what not to do. But I couldn't stop watching. I also thought it was a kinda funny how fast the video stopped right after the machine was stopped.

Detensioning - For times when not in use?
Hey all, It's been a while since I have been on here. Unfortunately I can't play with my machine for a while which is sad, but ultimately it's for a good reason. I want to make sure that I am treating it right. Should I loosen the belts while it is not in use? Also, I remember that there was an issu...

Re: What happens when the laptop goes to sleep?
Yeah, sleep killed a couple hour aluminum job once. Once it was back on, I found that it had lost it's zero, and the piece was not recoverable. I have a small pile of things that didn't end well, and that was added to it. I tried, but getting a machine re-aligned without any sort of homing is not go...

I am however, going to be doing a focus via servo, but that is a few steps away. That is going to involve some half inch aluminum which will be milled, cut, then dr...

Re: DSLR Camera Slider
So... 2 little hiccups along the way... (well there were more, but I will mention these now). I mentioned the bearings I found at ServoCity . They can be found here and the item number is #535051. They are a little expensive (at least they are to me) when you consider that you need 4 of them for wha...
