thanks for the input. i am running a infrared element. at 250 degrees.
planning to use a fiber glass belt.
and when finished use a custom belt which is Kevlar re enforced.

went 6 mm or 1/4 inch today worked nice. does any one know where i can get a longer stainless rod M8 so i can make the rod the full length of the maker slide. i tried locally but no one has any. please help.

how do i connect the reset button on the grbl shield. i bought a press button at the store today. when i close the enclosure the button will be my reset switch.

also i wired the 24 volt into the power supply swtich so i can turn off power to the sheild.

finished wiring today. just need to run to the music store and get a 24 volt fan from a power amplifier. as soon as i am finished i will post more pictures. really liking how it worked out.did feel like spending the 35 dollars on the enclosure.

i would like to see rail lengths available. also a waste board for shipping overseas should be a option. conversion from shape oko 2 to 3 should be a option in the future. the ideal size for a cnc i 2 feet by 2 feet. can wait to see how the new design hold up. i plan to get a shape oko3 but i wait ...
