Are you running diodes on your solenoids?If not you are likely back feeding the controller when the solenoids turn off.. You need to install a flyback diode to dissipate the current from the solenoid.I had similar issues when wiring in the air control valves on my machines for the plate marker optio...

For the host software i can run either GcodePrintr or tinyg controller depending on what i am doing..The main thing i am not finding is a post processor that works in the android environment.

cad-cam software or app for android tablet?

I am making my machines bluetooth capable and have found a couple good host software-apps to run on the tablet but am not seeing any cam programs that work on a tablet.. I have a few card programs that I found that will write the dxf.but nothing to do the post processor.if anyone has found something...

I run ramps 1.4 with the a4988 on my machines at 12 volts for nema 17s and they do really well when i want more power i use tb6600 stepper drivers for my bigger stepper motors.. i usually go to 24 volts when running the tb6600 but they work great on 12 volts as well..They can handle up to 5 amps..I ...

I will also note that the speeds where the motor would loose steps on the x and y were different when using the nema 17 but with the nema 23 they were very similar..Even though the speeds they would loose steps were higher with the nema 17..So this leads me to believe the idea that inductance is the...
