Re: GRBL Pendant

it seems that autokey doesnt like to work well with UGS for mouse clicks to select the command tab. Sorry, I have no experience with autokey. Will (the UGS dev) has talked here about adding more keyboard shortcuts for things like home and reset but I don't see that in the docs. You might try pingin...

Are you just wanting to use the keyboard? Do your arrow keys work when connected?

Re: GRBL Pendant

I like D'bugs pendant...but how does it work with any if the gcode senders that drive GRBL? +1. I don't understand how to do the keyboard pendant for GRBL, as the referenced source uses Mach3. Help? I have no idea about Mach3 either, but you'd basically just want to send the key codes to the comput...

Re: My GRBL pendant

so is your e-stop button just wired in series with your power switch? Is there a real need for both? Ha, yes. It wasn't really necessary. In fact, half of the buttons I used aren't really needed, but I didn't know and was learning. Sorry for the lack of update. I'm still touching up some details an...

Re: My GRBL pendant

What are the approximate dimensions of the box? 277mm by 165mm Now the electronics fun begins with all of the wiring and hookups! Yes, I'm excited! Most of this stage should move a lot faster since I'll just be combining all of the individual pieces that I already had working. I'm saving the toggle...

Re: GRBL Pendant

Thanks, cvoinescu! Between that article and the stream.py code, I think I understand what needs to be done on an Arduino. I'll keep you guys updated.

Re: My GRBL pendant

Well, I finally created the box. It's far from perfect, but it's functional, so I can now focus more on the electronic/microcontroller side of things.

Here's the box I finally made: http://imgur.com/YbfZwGK

Re: GRBL Pendant

I'm going towards a similar goal, but have been slowed down by life and the complexity of certain aspects of what I'm trying to create. As for Edward's solution, I've also searched for details but found little of his final solution. That said, the pendant I'm making is communicating with the GRBL sh...

BeBoPr++ Cape and (optionial Panucatt drivers)

http://imgur.com/a/U2Pa0 I bought two because it was cheaper and have more plans to build machines then I have time and could use the money right now. This has never been plugged in and only taken out of the box for photos. I'll sell the cape alone or with the Panucatt drivers (I have enough for 3 o...

Re: My GRBL pendant

Oh, by the way, I'm sure my button configuration is questionable. I'm still not sure and I'm the type of person to leave far too many options. For now, it's this: green = GRBL resume yellow = GRBL pause white = GRBL reset blue = Arduino reset E-stop = true stop, normally open power to gshield, close...
