I just finished my build and was playing around with some 3D and ran into the same issue. I was doing a slice path and it seems to have dropped, z-axis must have gotten too hot. So, I contacted bobcad support and asked which post processor to use for grbl and the answer I received was “all of our standard post processors are on our website, you can puchase a support package to have custom posts made for you" not quite the answer I was looking for.
