Re: tinyg + tgFX runaway on x axis

Using openscam I can see the gcode is fine. Run away implies it is at the end of a cut but doesn't lift and continues on one axis.

tinyg + tgFX runaway on x axis

So I'm still getting up and going with my shapeoko. When I cut a logo converted from PNG into makercam then into tgfx it gets half way through and the x axis just keeps going. Same thing happened with a simple text follow path job. Any ideas? Maybe switch to a new tinyg controller app like chillpeppr?

Re: Build It Bigger 1mx1m

Well open builds didn't change my order so I will be running the 20x40 on the x axis and I've added another 20x20 so there will be two 2020 under each y axis. I have placed the order for the shapeoko today so will post pics later when they arrive.

Re: Build It Bigger 1mx1m

Nope :) Got an idea where i want to take it but i'm sure there will be innumerable tweaks and changes along the way. Definitely open to advice.

Maybe if I look at a diagonal strapping?

Re: Build It Bigger 1mx1m

Yes, the model had the makerslide incorrectly flipped on the left hand side, keen eyes there. I fixed it after exporting that image. The 20x60 will screw into the stock endplates and I have 6x flats t piece plates to join the 20x20 extrision. And again, yes it will need to be trimmed. I will be maki...
