I made a Cheat Sheet for Mach3 setup for the Shapeoko 2 with the Acme upgrade. I calibrated the Z axis with a starett height gage which allowed me to get within a thou. http://imgur.com/a/MU8c8
Hope this helps anyone willing to try. It works way better than Chilipeppr or GRBL.

Apparently 380.08 is ancient and synthetos is touting it as the latest rev?????? Who's in charge of that I updated the tinyG and it turns out the latest they claim is two freaking years old! Where is the latest?

You could adopt a smoothieboard http://smoothieware.org/smoothieboard They have a board that can do five axis motion.
