I know! The dust boot I think I can design..but his pipe brackets are really cool. That area near the spindle has the potential to take up some of the X travel so you have to be careful I think. I would love to get the files for this also. Really looking into a dust collector and this is ideal. I c...

Improved dust collector

Here's my latest dust collector. Tested and no dust escape. I like it. The tube is mounted on the fix frame instead of the z assembly so it always have fix height from the materials being cut. Won't work though on 3D CNC which I never cut anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-FNeZ_sTpc&feature=y...

Re: Using festool MFT table as CNC base

Yes. My design goal is to be able to slide the whole gantry for quick removal. All wirings and controller are already within this assembly which makes it more easier to dissamble without disconnecting any motor wires. I'm still using my MFT for cutting using festool plunge saw and don't want my MFT ...

Using festool MFT table as CNC base

Did some quick mock up layout on sketchup, its nice that both components are available already on sketchup warehouse. I'm going to convert my shapeoko 2 sooner once I get my build done and able to cut some custom adapter for the mounting. It should make my build area bigger and can still easily disa...
