Hey guys, Thinking about building a laser machine utilizing maker slide for the linear motion. I want the foot print to be at least 20"x30" With all the Chinese 8x12 lasers for around $350 would it make sense to buy one of those just for parts? I ordered a shielded usb cable and I am going to look over the wiring and make sure there are not any wires crossing. Especially the spindle power wires. I am currently on vacation so I will dive back into it when I get home. I will update with progress... And hopefully a solution :) Thanks for the ...

I am currently running 9mm belts. I have removed the belts to check the motion of the axis and everything feels tight but slides smooth. and I have retentioned the belts.

u can also import most cad models into fusion, I thought there was an autodesk inventor model for it. I have successfully pulled in inventor, rhino, and stl files into fusion.

Thank you, is there any info on how to set the spindle range? I looked through the config stuff you linked to but didn't see anything about spindle min or max settings.
