(i have a 24V 5A power supply) how can i measure the output current ? can i get the around the same torque as the one motor setup with just the currant cranked up ? also where can i get the wiring schematics for the motor in ser...

hi there
i finally upgraded my ShapeOko to dual motors
and i am trying things around

as first result , i would advise people not to put two motor on the Y axis on a grblshield be cause it feels to me that there is no more torque whatsoever

the 2nd X clamp that not so many body will need
i made it to clamp the nap under the little square with 4 screews
(it is not clamped on the picture , so i am holding it to show the position that the nap is supposed to be clamped in)

EDIT _i uploaded the wrong file , let me edit the file and reupload a final version_ thanks guys for your interest i am not sure how to compare the 2 options , but yes the option with one smooth idler make the longest belt/pulley contact , maybe 50% of the perimeter , but i couldn t go with that opt...

http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:45455 the thickness of the piece is 12mm thick so it seems not to be bending it has been printed in ABS on a printRbot at 225 degree C with 80% fill some sanding might be needed if there is sharp edges where the belt rest on you will have to re-drill the clamping sys...
