Re: Vectric Aspire Pocket between 2 Shapes Issue
Hi RobCee, I've seen all those settings. I would think I'm some home missing a profile pass, but I'm not using the raster cut method. I'm using offset with 0 allowance. And the profile is set to outside. On takes way to much, and Inside is for sure wrong. The preview to me, I think looks right, whic...

Re: Vectric Aspire Pocket between 2 Shapes Issue
Thanks everyone. I don't think is my cut settings, I checked them again. I'll do a wider pocket to compensate past the profile.

Re: Vectric Aspire Pocket between 2 Shapes Issue
I feel like I'm missing something in the software to make sure it runs to the outside my selection.

Re: Vectric Aspire Pocket between 2 Shapes Issue
Hi WillAdams, It was a solid block of wood to begin with. The the cut out was at the end. I did a planing pass first to get to my desired height and it went edge to edge. Then what I wanted to pocket from out edge to the peg, i could see it wasn't making it to the outside edge, and I'm assuming the ...

Vectric Aspire Pocket between 2 Shapes Issue
I don't know if anyone can help me here. I didn't see much when I tried searching the web. What I am trying to do is do a pocket between two circles. What happens is, the tool path isn't going all the way to the edge of this type of pocket. If I run a surface pocket, it goes all the way to the edge....

Re: Y Axis Skipping
Thanks Will, and everyone else. You guys are all great help on here. It looks like I lost one of the little screws that was supposed to dig into the shaft. I filed it down anyways since I had it apart. So far running it back and forth, I didn't hear or see alignment issues. This forum is simply grea...

Re: Y Axis Skipping
I have not filed a flat spot yet, great idea. That very well could be my issue that it's rotating freely around the shaft. I'll get that done this week and let you know.

Y Axis Skipping [Resolved]
This is relatively new, and doesn't always happen. My X-Axis isn't always staying square to the Y-Axis. With the double motors, I can occasionally hear skipping. Visually, the right motor seems to pivot about a 3/4 of an inch, while the left motor stays still. It can happen when traveling either pos...

Re: Limit Z Axis from User trying to raise it to high
Thanks guys. I set hard limits to 1. And it stopped trying to go over the limit switch. One annoyance down.

Limit Z Axis from User trying to raise it to high (resolved)
I've tried searching, not sure if I'm even looking for the right thing. I have limit switches on and homing works great. Every now and then I will move my X and Y by 10 units, and then hit Z. Needless to say, lots of extra holes in the waste board. But sometimes we go up, and it grinds. Is there way...
