Re: My new Shapeoko 3 is it just me?

For convention all the cut are in negative Z coordinates so the 0 is the top of the stock. All the coordinates are negative the Home X position is far from the front of the machine, Y is at at right and Z is the most high position above the table. This is different from the convention of 3D printing...

Re: Please help new guy...

Run the g code file into an emulator and see what happens. Or inspect the gcode, maybe it's some unsupported command tgat reset some motion comand to a rapid or set the feed rate wrongly.

Re: bCNC problems sending code

Auarhau, have you tried to ask on the bCNC github page?
What version of python you are using, bCNC will not work with python 3.x

Re: eShapeoko vs Shapeoko 3

eShapeoko is quite good, I have one equipped with nema 23 motors driven by GRBL and a 3 axis dual Y (4 motor drivers), Kress 1050 FME 1 spindle and a Microcontroller board running Linux with bCNC running on it. Its 1000x750 mm and it, quite precise, some minor issues due to the stiffness of the Y ax...

Re: i/o shield for limit switches, user buttons and controls

Here in Italy the shipping fees are quite high compared to those in Germany and France, so I'm not a candidate for the organizination of the group but you can count on me for a kit or even only for a PCB.

Re: i/o shield for limit switches, user buttons and controls

Thanks fjohn264 if it is the only option i will consider to try this, someone here told about a possible group order for the PCB so I was referring mainly on this option with the previous post.

Again many thanks and regards.

Any other news on the board, I'm interested even in the "hole" board, I'm in Italy.
