Hey guys!
Question, as the title says, can anyone give me the dimensions of the MDF bed for the XL and XXL kits? I am planning on upgrading my Shapeoko 3 to XXL and I found a local shop here that sells aluminum threaded sheets. Can anyone help me with this? Pretty please?

Re: SO3 limit switch question

The behaviour can be changed by editing the config files and recompiling Grbl.
Thanks for the response Will! Is there any tutorials or any documentations on how to do so?

SO3 limit switch question
Hey guys, I have a question about the limit switches for the SO3. I just recently installed the switches and finished homing it. The problem is, once the machine is homed, it ends up on the top right corner of the bed. My home position before was on the bottom left of the bed (which is I am not sure...

Re: Carbide Create Question
Thanks for the answer! I was starting to drive myself nuts over the weekend trying to figure out if there was such an option within the CC software. Looks like I will be watching tutorials of MakerCam this coming weekend.

Carbide Create Question
Hey guys!
Got another question. Is there an option for Carbide Create to do a "Drill" operation? Instead of doing a circle, it will just plunge in little by little to drill a hole on the material?

Cutting Area Issue
Hey guys1 Got a question. I am having some troubles setting up my first cut with my SO3. I am trying to cut a 16"x16" square. I made the "design" with the CC (Carbide Create). I have set up everything in the CC for the machine to cut a 16"x 16" square. After loading the gcode into CM (Carbide Motion...

Re: Shapeoko 3 startup noise
Okay, I just confirmed, the noise is coming from the stepper motors. Anyone else has this kind of noise on their machine? Do I need to be concerned about this?

Re: Shapeoko 3 startup noise
k. So the plan is to test them one at a time, and see if one of them is significantly louder than the others? Actually, the plan was to just unplug everything from the board except for the power to see if the noise is actually coming from the board. I don't know if that's advisable to do but that's...
