Re: I made a stool! Or bench... Tiny table?

Even with a stock SO2 you have pass thru capability. With that and indexing holes you can make infinitly long pieces. If you expand the machine to handle full width of plywood you can do full sheets. I think the possibilities endless. Thats actually quite interesting! currently in a house move and ...

Re: I made a stool! Or bench... Tiny table?

Beacuse the legs shorten and seem to angle outwards this looks pretty stackable to me, the second would be 90 degrees as gadgetman mentioned and then the 3rd is placed like the original, I guess that would also help being able to lift them off again without accidentally grabbing more then you want a...

Re: Sip CNC Enclosure

Hi Brian Thank you for that. When I came to building it I was going to ask what should I use. I was thinking foam pads but of course isolation pads are made to prevent unnecessary sound travel from vibration under your speakers etc, I can see it being helpful for this. Bookmarked this for the build....

Sip CNC Enclosure

Good Evening guys I am finally (after 3 going on 4 years) going to place an order for a eShapeoko  I got into wanting a cnc machine when I saw the original machine on Kickstarter back at University when we were looking at interesting and cool projects. Re: tjshape's build log (Shapeoko 2 and a soundproof enclosu

Haha definitely and if I can get offcuts then that will be even better! Our low level buildings require panels 300mm less then our standard size so I can always enquire about some of that to start with, couple of 4x2 and then they just slot together with a few nails to hold it firm. I will definitel...

Re: tjshape's build log (Shapeoko 2 and a soundproof enclosu

We have just built an annexe fully sip panelled and with soundproof plastering for a music room and for someone to sleep and it works peperfectly. We have done a few music rooms and woodwork shops so I know a small scale box or mini room would work as there is less open space to bounce sound off. I ...

Re: tjshape's build log (Shapeoko 2 and a soundproof enclosu

This project looks great, has definitely given me some ideas! I am a cad technician at a design and build company and we manufacture sip panels (structurally insulated panels) and I never thought of using that as a starting point for such a project.. Some sound proof plastering installed and your aw...
