Re: Buildlog.net Arduino Compatible Stepper Shields availabl

I will attest that it's a very nice kit.

I also like the Youtube assembly walk through.
Do what he says...pause. repeat.

Re: Trim Router Mounting CAD/Shapes?

It was ugly but worked long enough to make a nice set with my new spindle.
Ah yes...that is ingenius.
Like carving some crutches out of a tree branch so you can hobble to the medical supply place. 8-)
cracked me up!

Re: Trim Router Mounting CAD/Shapes?

Thanks Brandon. I eventually went ahead and measured and tried to make my own last night. I'll post them here. I added a little loop off the side for maybe a little compressed air line. Thought that might be handy. Or maybe a tiny cup holder - everything is better with a cup holder. Sadly I wasn't e...

Re: Trim Router Mounting CAD/Shapes?

That's the one. You know, one thing I found about this cutter though, is that the first one I got did not spin perfectly at the collet. It seemed to wobble. Trim Router Mounting CAD/Shapes?

I got today and my plan was to cut some nylon to make the new mounts. So I'm drawing that up. But it would be a nice time saver if I had a start with the MakerSl...

Oh, cool...sorry Edward. I just wasn't sure if those new plates were going forward or what was going on.

Re: New X-axis plates

I wonder if we could get a running tally on how many people want these. Edward seems to have dropped off as people showed interest. But if there's enough interest, they could be cut at a place like Big Blue Saw http://www.bigbluesaw.com/ and we could get over the amount needed to waive the setup cha...

Re: Electro Mini-Stack - Arduino, Motor Sheild, Rapsberry Pi

Interesting to hear your first impressions...I can believe it's not the speediest thing out there.

Maybe raspbian will help move things along. It sure would be a nice little form factor for all those things.
