Re: bCNC doesn't display much of the toolpath

On the top-right corner of the canvas there is a widget with the timeout of the display.
Just increase it to higher values.

Re: bCNC pause fail

Normally bCNC works with all versions of Grbl 0.9, 1.0, 1.1+, and I've just test it the Feed hold and works ok.
Could you check that you have the latest version of bCNC.

For the moment it doesn't work with python v3.x. You need to install python 2.7

Re: bCNC touch Plate

On the "Control" tab there are 6 red buttons with a label "User". If you right click any of the buttons you can change the label, icon and the commands to be send, either g-code or bCNC commands. Note that everything in bCNC is user configurable, (from the ini file) for example if you want to have t...

Re: bCNC touch Plate

In bCNC you can set the plate thickness in the TLO before probing and once it touches you can click on the Z=0.
If you want to have the same behavior as in Chillipepper you can set the gcode commands to be executed
directly in any of the programmable buttons. No programming is required at all.

Re: How can I change the start point of a job (bCNC)

You cannot start from a specific line, however you can disable out all "blocks" of gcode that are executed so you can start close to the last abort location. To disable part of the gcode, select the gcode either in the editor (the easiest click on the first block and then shift-click on the block be...

Re: bCNC Auto Level Inch Based Designs Does it work?

bCNC should work both on imperial and metric systems. bCNC will do the conversion internally
to the units that grbl is reporting. You need however to set the same units in grbl
and bCNC settings.

Re: Making an SO3 start in the same spot, every time..

Exactly. The functionality is in the Probe tab as center Probe. Move the gantry inside the hole, You have to supply the diameter to scan and click center. It will scan first in x both ways to find the limits, then move to the middle value and scan on the y both ways to find the center and move there.

Re: Making an SO3 start in the same spot, every time..

bCNC already has a center hole probing functionality and the possibility to align an object by providing a few markers. Actually it transforms (rotates and translates) the gcode to match the object. Currently I doing some work on adding a camera alignment system. With a cheap webcam mounted next to ...
