DIY manual touchplate
After seeing the huge cost of the Carbide 3D touch plate combined with it having unicorn availability, I decided to just make one that I can manually use. Re: How long should a bit last?
Keep in mind heat is the worst thing for metal. The more pitch and resin on the bit, the more heat generated, thus burning and becoming more dull. In a wood like pine, your bit will get gunked up pretty fast. Something like mineral spirits or simple green will keep it clean.

Thanks!
Thanks!

Sizing stepper motors?
I'm looking to do something like this to automate pen blank drilling on my press but the biggest puzzle for me is what size of stepper motor do I need to be looking for. Everything else is cake in my head except that small little part.

Re: Dust control for laptop
Notebook keyboards and track pads are notoriously bad to go wonky with only the slightest amount of debris. My suggestion is to go for a USB keyboard and mouse and forget about it.

Re: S3 stops mid-job
I don't want to point the finger towards any specific router but I believe it's more a sum of all the parts causing this rather than blaming one specific manufacturer. I would like to see an included package for machine grounding since the only ground the machine is connected to in the factory confi...
