SOLD * Assembled Shapeoko 3 For Sale

Greetings all, I have an assembled SO3 for sale. This CNC has seen very limited usage, as I discovered shortly after purchasing that I needed a larger CNC. Within weeks of assembling my SO3, I purchased the CNCROUTERPARTS Pro 4848, and ever since then the SO3 has been sitting idle, but I didn't want...

Dust shoes/boots are typically an after market add on, even for CNC machines costing 20 times the SO3...

As Will stated, machining your own for some is a rite of passage, others prefer to purchase a readily available design. The Improbable Construct is a very nice design.

Re: Upgraded To XL or XXL SO3 Users

Thanks. I haven't paid close attention lately, was going off of a post from Edward on the C3D forum that indicated the upgrades would probably ship first week of May. Latest update indicated the XXLs should start shipping next week, I'm uncertain about the XL....

Upgraded To XL or XXL SO3 Users

I'm curious to hear from those users that upgraded their SO3's to the XL or XXL versions. What I would like to know, did the upgrades significantly improve the functioning and accuracy of your SO3? It probably goes without saying that the improved Z axis plate provides a significant improvement with...

Re: My new Shapeoko 3 is it just me?

Rocket, A few comments and suggestions..... First, yes, when you touch your bit against the wood of your project, you do need to hit the Zero Z on the program. Otherwise, zero will be wherever the Z-axis height was when you switched on the machine. Same applies to X and Y. Within Carbide Motion, you...

Re: Shapeoko 3 - Expansion Packs

Any updates about the expansion kit? I think many people would like to see regularly scheduled updates posted for the expansion packs. Same applies (for me) on the Z axis prototype. I initially purchased the SO3 for several justifiable reasons. I wanted to get an understanding of how to assemble an...

Re: Just finished my new base.

I finished my new base tonight. I replaced the 2 pieces of mdf with a single sheet of 3/4" plywood, then added five Shop Fox D2724 24-Inch T-Slot Tracks. I'm gonna give it a try tomorrow. Joe, Looks nice! Exactly what I was getting ready to do, except I am planning on using T-Track from Rockler. Wh...
