Re: Controlling a relay via gcode, ie. for cooling, using M8
Here is the info I got from Carbide3D : Disclaimer : This is for 2.4D board. Hooking up a 3rd party device will void the warranty. There are no on board relays that would let you hook that up, you'd have to put something together. There is also no convenient place to grab 24V from the board but I'm ...

Controlling a relay via gcode, ie. for cooling, using M8, M9
Hi all, I am in the process of hooking up an electrical solenoid valve, in order to blow air on the bit. I have a 24VDC valve (https://www.mettleair.com/store/valves/sv/esc2w2p/2-way-valve-1-4-npt-wire-leads-dc-24v.html) and a 2.4 controller board. The idea is to use M8 and M9 to turn it on and off....

Re: Waste Board Dimensions

Re: Waste Board Dimensions
We just sent RAWINDESIGN's file for fabrication, and realised the dimensions are WRONG !!!!! When you look at Edward's drawing, there is 679.64-37.91=641.73mm from one left fixation screw to the one on the right. On RAWINDESIGN's file, he specifies 640mm. Which is a difference of 1.73mm and well, ho...

Re: v-wheels technical drawing
I'm tempted to think the delrin wheel design is the same, but the difference is in the outer diameter of the precision washer

v-wheels technical drawing
hi there
I was wondering, as the shapeoko 3 is open hardware, if there is a technical drawing for the v-wheels used by the shapeoko 3. I looked everywhere, couldn't find it.
Thanks

know the RPM of your router with your phone
There's a free app called Giri (iphone/android) which tells you the RPM of any motor around you, by listening to the motor running via your phone's microphone. Works like a charm with the Dewalt DWP611. If you don't have a smartphone, a friend of mine used Ableton. Let's say you want to set it to 22...
