I should have been more clear on the machinable wax.
Its actually wax (candles, paraffin) melted together with plastic bac (IIRC LDPE).

You could also try making machineable wax for proving out g codes.

@Milford,
You said your using dual drive from one driver and those looks like Nema 23 motors, that maybe the cause of you driver overheating. You might try splitting the signal and direction to 2 driver, one for each motor.

Thinking about it, maybe your right about the switch.
IIRC 2 jumpers need to be moved, one for direction and one for pulse.

@ejs, I commend your honesty upfront and I believe the market will respond accordingly. I do have a small request/recommendation for your kit and I have posted this already with the other forum. In this version, we have an option of using 4 axis or using 2 driver to drive 2 stepper from 1 signal BUT...

I can't possible be sure, but it looks like the mandrel screw is a bit higher than the rest of the tool.
