Mh, I'm not sure, because I know they have a USA version of the Kress 800. So I guess they have it also for the kress 1050-1.

Re: Kress 1050

Hi Cvolnescu, Compared to my stock dremel look-a-like tool which came with my inventables kit! I don't know the specs about the dw660, but: - Is has 1050 Watt input and more than 600 watt output. - Soft start-up and start current limitation - Armoured motor winding to protect against dust and partic...

Re: Cambam Post Processor

Oh, I'm gone love CAMBAM. I Just managed to let CamBam control the DWELL command on the shapeoko automatically. This means CamBam put's the right G-code in the file for changing the tools. You have to create a custom post-processor in Cambam. named that one for example Shapeoko. then you can change ...

Z30 ---> Move the Z 30 mm up. G4 = P120 ---> 2 minutes pause Z0 ---> Lower the Z 30 down. X0 Y0 ---> go back to home position. I...

Re: Dwell

hi, I'm trying to "pause" my machine so I can change the tool. I'm using GRBL version 0.8A with Motor lock enhancement from Atomsoft. My machine doesn't shows any difference with using the G04 code. (I think that's the DWELL command code? for eg.: X50 Y50 ---> machine goes 5 cm to the right and back...

Re: Kress 1050

Wow, the machine performs excellent!

I just bought the Kress 1050-1 and It makes a hugh difference.
Nice clean cuts. Fast and powerfull.

Even the 1.7 kg is no problem for the Z-axis.

Re: Cambam Post Processor

thanks Edward, But how are people changing the tool when a job is running? At this moment I'm using one tool for the complete cnc action. This takes a lot of time. I think (but I don't know how) that you have to put some FEED_HOLD in the Gcode. When you are done, pressing the ~ would resume the prog...

Kress 1050

I'm looking for an upgrade for my spindle on my 'stock' shapeOko. It's just to light. And I came across this one: http://www.damencnc.com/en/tools/kress/kress-milling-motor It's 1.7 kg and I'm not sure if this is to heavy for my shapeOko. It has the following specifications: - MAXX-Power 1050 Watt m...
