Hey that's an awesome idea using a cabinet. I bet if you lined it with some insulation you could bring the sound levels down even more.

If your a student, or say your a student, you can download the CAD packages from autodesk for free. It'll just put a stamp on your drawing if you try and print it I believe.

Just flipping the makerslide over so the bump was on the bottom seems to have done the trick.

makerslide is dinged

I got my makerslide and there was one small ding in it. I didn't realize that such a small ding in the rail would be an issue as the machine has a noticeable bump as it slides. Thanks for your help Roy!

I reversed the polarity and replaced the fuse and everything seems to be working normally.

To be fair though, your wiring diagram doesn't include the V+ and V- and probably should be added.
