Either Just Stupid or Drug Overdosed

I recently had a 2 level fusion in my neck and thought I would take this healing time to work on a mothers day legacy box with my children's memories. My daughter told me one of her favorite times was playing with her mother and her Polly Pockets. 2017-05-04_17-22-50-0000.png So I thought i would ge...

Re: Z Axis clicks then loses depth - HELP!

Check the two set screws in the Z-axis pulley. They are probably not tight and one of them is likely not on the flat of the motor.

If you are interesting in the plans you can purchase them off the Paulk website. http://www.paulkhomes.com/order-plans.html I designed it from the plans in VCarve Pro and cut it ALL out on my CNC. Re: X,Y,Z position not zeroing after homing

You can change the home position to the front left corner instead of the back right corner. Most people index their work position in the front of the machine. I never fully understood why the back right is designated as home but you can change it. I am thinking it is the $23 code but dont remember f...

Re: X,Y,Z position not zeroing after homing

Homing set the boundry to where you tell the machine the homing position is. Normally it is the back right up position. You then would move the machine to you beginning cut position and zero your machine to your work piece. Normally the corner top of your work piece (or sometime center top). Then th...

Re: Help with setting WCS using Carbide Motion?

I ended up installing Hall Effect sensors on all axis in both direction and got rid of some of my frustration. I dont know if that would work for you but you can see my write up about it here.

Re: Which bit to level work surface?

Awesome. I just had to level a board that I glued up that ended up too wide to go through my planer. I used that bit to level both sides of the board. It ended up being perfectly straight on both sides. So dont just limit it to the spoilboard. If you need to level something it works great for that p...
