Re: Fastener Assortments

Personally I use a lot of M3's and M5's of various lengths. I've primarily used those on my ShapeOko, 3D printer and now the BuildLog laser laser I'm working on now.

Re: Beta testers wanted

I'd be interested in helping out in round 2. If Saint Louis and Chicago were just a bit closer I'd actually volunteer for round 1, but I don't know if I can get the time off work right now for a travel day.

It looks like the image may have been changed. The two links cvoinescu posted both have different images now.

Re: gt2 and xml belts

I'd probably be interested in around 10 meters of GT2 if you're getting the standard 2mm pitch 6mm wide stuff. I'm thinking of following your lead on the larger 3D printer and maybe building a Rostock while I'm at it. Now that I've got one 3D printer going something is telling me to build more.

Re: shapeoko made this 3d printer

I've been considering building a deltabot using MakerSlide and my ShapeOko to machine aluminum plates. I like what you've done here though and would be really interested in seeing files for the plates and parts you machined. I'm looking to get a bigger print area than any of the printers on the mark...

Re: New X-axis plates

I'm interested in hearing more about these modifications and multiple wheel configurations. I might be slicing up my alternate plates to catch up with Edward's ever changing plans. It's funny every time I think I've got my machine to a good place Edward and Improbable Construct put together somethin...

Re: Aluminum

Will, What endmill did you use for that and what kind of speed/feed were you using? I'm also curious about your extruder carriage. How much aluminum did you take off in that slot to bend the piece? What's the strength and rigidity like on that piece? I'd like to do something similar for a few bracke...

Re: Upgrade Parts!

I understand the frustration. I bought one of the last kits that Edward sold himself before the Inventables change. There were some issues and missing pieces and it took a few months to sort everything out finally. So as I said I understand the frustration and I think Edward probably does too let's ...

Re: Upgrade Parts!

A harassment campaign and throwing around F-bombs is only going to get your posts deleted. Frustration is understandable, but try to keep it civil and that will probably get you better results.
