Re: Trying to control a servo - raise pin 11 to 5V?

John, my settings is in the Defaults.h file. And you are right, spindel speed was set to 1000, so that made sens. I'm going to test the new settings!

Re: Trying to control a servo - raise pin 11 to 5V?

Yes, M03 S1000 worked great! But only til I restart the machine and the value gets reset. Is there some way it could be defined in the boot process so I don't have to define it every time? I have the same problem with F250 that should be F2000 in the boot up.

Trying to control a servo - raise pin 11 to 5V?

Hi! Using GRBL v1.1 in laser mode and now trying to controll a servo that needs 5V, but pin 11 only gives 1,3-1,5V when I use the M03 command. Is it possible to raise that to 5V using pin 11?

Re: How speed up?

Now it works! I changed Arduino card, reinstalled GRBL v1.1, reinstalled GRBL controll software and made all the changes one more time - and now it behaves normal. I have no idea what was the problem...

Re: How speed up?

I think that my values for $100, $101 and $102 is correct. When I make a 10x10mm square in the CAD program and run that g-code I got a 10x10mm motion. When jogging the machine I have tried G0, G1 and different speeds using Fxxx. No matter what I define over 500, the machine don't go any faster. Seem...

Re: How speed up?

I don't get it. If I change $100 from 40 to 80 the head travels twice the distans and twice the speed in x direction. It's the same bahavior when I jog or run a G-code. Should I change something else to calibrate the motors and speed?

How speed up?

Argh! This drives me crazy! I have adjusted the value for $100-$102 (Steps per mm) so the head travels the correct distans, but now VERY slow. I now try to compensate this by edit the Max Rate ($110-$112) with a higher value than 500, but It seems that 500 is max. Is this controlled somewhere else? ...

Re: How to turn off ease out/in motion?

I have one Chinese laser machine build on GRBL that behave exactly the way I want. I can cut in speeds up to 1500-2000 with very nice result. The laser module cut with full power and the motion is linear (it don't slow down/speed up around corners). I'm going to look at the settings and see how they...

Re: Can't get hard limit to work

Yes, $21=1 and $22=1 and the soft limits is off ($20=0). The hard limits works (sort of). When the head moves I can halt the motion by pushing the switches.
