Re: DW660 and the Super PID
I've had the SuperPID mated to my DW660 for nearly a year now and am very pleased with it. Do a lot of milling around 12000-18000 RPM and no issues.

Not sure if this has been noticed, but Inventables has the 600W quiet cut spindle listed now. Think it was just blogged days ago.

I added an MBE Extruder last summer to my Shapeoko. Now it doubles as a 3D printer.

My latest project - Outdoor LED Controller
Just finished my outdoor LED controller. I just got a patio and landscaping done this past summer and wanted to do my own LED lighting. I wired for 2 zones (deck and garden area) and wanted to build a custom controller I could use to schedule and control the lights. It also needed an enclosure that ...

Re: CNC noob: Is Shapeoko 2 the right machine?
I would not go as far to say the MYDIYCNC is garbage. I had one before switching over to my ShapeOko and it was a great way for me (also a noob at the time) to get started. It had limits, but it worked well enough on plastics / wood. I considered it an investment in learning and recouped some of the...

Re: Help setup a relay to turn spindle on and off
I recommend not leaving the machine unattended.. I've read lots of stoires where their machines crashed and they were able to stop in time to avoid serious damage and fire. I've experienced a number of crashes myself that I am certain would have resulted in buring out my DW660, controllers etc. That...

Re: Can we please add a TB6560 Thread to the Need Help categ
I've got a TB6560 controller. When was first searching here for help, I simply searched for TB6560. Agreed with others, don't think there is a critical mass here to get a dedicated forum to discuss. Just search.
