Re: ShapeOko #268

And mounted.

Now I just need a 1/8" collet and some form of dust boot.

Re: Aluminum spindle mounts for Makita RT0701c

The spacing looks to be about 20mm. I'm ready to drop the money if you're ready to mill one.

Errors attemptingHello World

I'm getting these errors attempting to send the Hello World gcode file through UGS and then the Y carriage continues to move until it hits the end pieces.

GRBL 0.9. and current version of Universal Gcode Sender.

Any ideas?

Re: Aluminum spindle mounts for Makita RT0701c

Chuckle. I'm in no rush. I'll need to save up and I'm in the process of seriously upgrading my current setup.

The hole pattern spacing on a SO1 is the distance between the two facing slots of a piece of Makerslide; I can get you the specific dimensions if needed.

Re: Aluminum spindle mounts for Makita RT0701c

I might have interest if they're still available and they'll fit a ShapeOko 1.

Re: 3D to 2D - how to?

You can plot out flattened 2D views of 3D solids in AutoCAD. I suppose you could also trace out the parts you want and flatten the lines in a modeling program, but this would depend on how complex the object is; taking a section of the model might help.

Are you sure the DWG/DXF files are 3D models?
