Re: Dual y axis motor problems
I am running dual Y motors with one driver and have not had this issue. As far as I can tell I have equal power to both motors. my machine is in a 1Mx1M configuration with 2 x rails. Have you phase one motor opposite the other so they turn in the same direction? Have you adusted the driver current l...

Re: GBRL refuses to home. - $H
This looks suspicious
$22=2147483.648 (homing feed, mm/min)
Also I think that GRBL only works with normally OPEN switches. Having a closed switch is telling it not to move.There are 3 Normally Closed homing switches on my machine.

Re: The Motors wont go on!!! HELP!
Here is my current toolchain. It works in linux or windows.
Draft Sight (AutoCAD) -> myDesign.dxf -> CAMBam -> myDesignedCAM.nc -> GCodeSender -> GRBL controller
Maker sure that AutoCAD, CAMBam and GRBL controller are set to the same units of either mm or inches.

Re: The Motors wont go on!!! HELP!
Its in the area where the power hooks up to the board. If it was lit you would see it. Make sure that the E-Stop switch is ON by twisting it in the direction according to the arrows on the red knob. If this doesn't give you a blue light then something is hooked up wrong or your power supply is not w...

Re: Milling problems
You could use the shapeOko to make a template and use it a drilling guide. Make sure you can clamp it in a couple of places so it does not move when you drill. If single can't support the stock X, would a person need to go triple X, and double Y when expanding to 1000? (If they want to cut aluminum ...

Re: Modifications for milling 1/8" aluminum
Doulbling the X axis usually refers to 2 X makerslide to aid in the carriage stiffness. However if you are really wanting 2 X motors it can be done. I have two motors on the Y. Hook them up to to same driver but with phase swapped this way they turn in opposite directions. .... 1.... 2.....3.... 4.....
