SO3 Dropping Connection
When I first started using my SO3, I got lots of connection drops. I was advised to place the SO3 power cable on its own circuit. Problem solved... However, I find due to wood shop rearrangement, I no longer have a separate circuit I can devote to the SO3. Looks like I'll have to connect SO3 power, ...

Re: Extend Wiring on SO3
Thank you for the link. I think I'll do what you suggest and bypass connectors. I just need to get in gear and finish my enclosure.

Re: Extend Wiring on SO3
Will,
I am very grateful that you would take so much time to help me out. With the information you gave, I should be able to make the cables.
I continue to be impressed by the level of support that you and the C3D staff provide.

Re: Extend Wiring on SO3
Thank you, Will. I looked over the notes regarding cable wiring and came away confused.
Thee notes assume more understanding regarding things electrical than I possess. Does Carbide 3D sell wiring that I can purchase?
Best regards,
Allen

Extend Wiring on SO3
Hi, I'm building an enclosure and wish to move the control board to the outside of the enclosure. First I am building an enclosure sized for the XL, an upgrade I will purchase later. I have no wiring experience and need advise--what wiring type/gauge, connectors, and anything else you think I might ...

Where to find information--Beginning SO3 User
This is my attempt to compile a list of references for the person getting started with a SO3 (attached PDF). I have triple-checked the links, but... If a link does not work as expected, just copy the link text and paste it into a search engine. This should get you where you want to go. Hopefully thi...

Re: E Stop Idea?
Thanks very much for the replies. Suggested by a buddy--an e-stop switch that you plug the tool into, no wiring. My plan is to plug the router and controller into a power bar and plug the power bar into the e-stop switch. Simple for me.
