Re: Program quit working......
First, let me say that Carbide 3D has the best support group I have ever used. They called me back as they said they would and were very helpful. I was told that the problem I had and the reason it occurred has been addressed and corrected.... So, the problem was, the instructions, while good, were ...

Re: V Carve Software for XXL SO3 or something else?
Hello again, Well, I now have first hand experience using Vecter Vcarve software with the Shapeoko 3 XXL. And, in summary, it works perfectly. The way I did it was..... I developed the design in Vcarve Pro. Nothing was done differently, I just laid out my design as I would normally. Once completed, ...

Program quit working......
Hello all, I have my machine (XXL) all set up and ready. I go to the homing setup, follow step by step, and after about the 3rd step, where it says "send config data" I immediately get an error message stating "program quit running". I am running Windows 10, plenty of memory, power to the controller...

Wanted !!!!!
Would like to purchase only the touch pad for the Shapeoko 3 XXL. Since it seems to be beyond the capabilities of Shapeoko to make more, I thought I'd try here. Thanks,
Jeff

Build Errors
Just a couple of quick notes.... Just received my Shapeoko 3 XXL, in the process of assembly. Just a couple of errors in the instructions..... 1. Installing the Y-Axis Drag Chain Bracket#: My unit only had the two lower spacers installed. It says to loosen the TWO screws, but there was only one. I f...

Next Wave Automation Touch Plate
Hello all, I recently acquired a brand new New Wave Automation touch plate. I would like to use it with my Shapeoko XXL. I haven't assembled the machine yet (still working on the table for the machine) so this may be a moot point but I wanted to ask. Is there an easy way to use this touch plate with...

Re: V Carve Software for XXL SO3 or something else?
Hello again, Wow, I never thought there would be such a lack of information on either Shapeoko or Vectric forums. I am with you in wanting to use Vcarve with Shapeoko. I have contacted Shapeoko, who said "It's third party software, contact Vectric". I have contacted Vectric who said "Contact Shapeok...

Re: Aspire on MAC using Parallel
Just a quick follow-up. I called Apple support and they walked me through loading bootcamp and windows on my iMac. It works perfectly, no problems, no glitches, and since all I use windows for is Aspire, I don't have to learn to jump through the windows hoops. Thanks for the help.

Vectric Software
Hi ya'll, I was using Vectric Aspire/VCarve Pro with my Next Wave CNC machine. I ordered a Shapeoko XXL and have a question. I see that there is a post processor for Shapeoko listed with the Vectric software. Will this work with the Shapeoko or is it a mistake? When I create a file and try to load i...

Re: V Carve Software for XXL SO3 or something else?
I have VCarve Pro, VCarve Desktop, and Aspire (in addition to Carbide Create). All of the Vectric software has post processors for Shapeoko machines. I am not sure if this will actually work, but wanted you to know it is listed...… Jeff
