Waste board tolerances
I have the Shapeoko 3XXl with a 3/4 MDF 32" x 32" waste board with tee-nuts attached at 4 corners and at the 5 centerpoints to the factory waste board that I have been trying to resurface to be able to v-carve on. Needless to say I don't believe everything is going my way, or I'm expecting too much ...

HELP!!!! I have been trying to carve some letters both v-carve and pocket with no success Started with a toolpath that I had used previously v-carved with good results. When I went back to it the bit after zeroing all axis starts the file but lacks about i/8 in of touching the stock. changed to a .0...

I have had my 3xxl for about two weeks now and have the same issues as described, 4 mm gap on opposite corners on the y axis. Machine is square to less than 1 mm diagonal, and short of re inventing the wheel i'm not resquareing the base again. Was that way 1st time put together and both times after....
