Re: upgrade END PLATE and MOTOR PLATE in stock

Re: Upgrade Parts!

I just got an email yesterday saying the upgraded parts are currently in production and will be available soon. Hard to say what that means from a time standpoint, but I would say it is encouraging at least !

Re: 2D CAD Tool

I've been using Inkscape for things with words where I am not terribly concerned with dimensions and Draftsight for precision work. It is free and does a decent job

Re: Seeking advice on a simple inexpensive 3d printer "spind

I was thinking I wanted to be able to do the exact same thing except use my TinyG controller, Slic3r, a seperate PID controlled temp for the extruder and a QU-BD. I have the QU-BD and it is still in my desk. I ended up getting in on the printrbot Simple Beta and am liking it so far. Just got it toge...

Re: TinyG First Time Use... Error on setup???

I would try posting this on the TinyG forum, they are usually pretty quick to respond there and are good at working through problems. I have a TinyG and have really liked how it has been working so far, stick with it!

Re: In the news!

Very cool, and nice job! I'm liking what I am seeing with the new plates/design! Looks like I might end up going the way of IC and only having a few stock fasteners on the machine...

Re: Turbine rotary tool (and dust collection?)

I was about to post this, glad I looked first. Definitely an interesting idea, but I agree that the torque could be an issue. Might be worth trying out though...
