Rattle Sound during Motion of Y-Axis

Hello together and Happy New Year, i disassembled and assembled my eshapeoko to have a better cable management. I also extended my cables for my electronic box. eshapeoko - motor plate optimization

Hello all, after thinking about increasing the work area of my eshapeoko i tought about the motor plate design from x and y axis. its relativly large and the space (by the x-axis) from x-axis and z-axis v-wheels is maybe 30 mm each side. so with a smaller distance for the wheel mounts on x-axis and ...

Re: eShapeoko - Problems with Z-Depth

hello together, i spend the last two days in finding the problem. first i disassembled the whole z-axis. i found out that no more tape were on the threaded rod. http://up.picr.de/15740539oh.jpg After that i saw that my rod is a little bit bended, so i bought a new m8 1.25 thread rod and cutted 180 m...

Re: eShapeoko - Problems with Z-Depth

Yes, no jumpers for the Z-axis means that it doesn't microstep. That means the multiplier is '1'. Your motor is a 200step/revolution (1.8degrees/step) As the rod is 1.25pitch it means a full rotation equals to 1.25mm, or that 200steps = 1.25mm A teensy little bit of math: 200 / 1.25 = 160 steps/mm ...

eShapeoko - Problems with Z-Depth

Hello together, today i started some cutting projects and i found out that my depth is to low. For example, i draw a circle which i want to cut out with a total depth from 10 mm. With the $2=320 configuration in Grbl i only get 5 mm depth, so nearly exact the half. When i slow it down to $2=160 it r...
