Re: best rigidity mods for SO2?

I went with 1/8 stainless for my motor plates and end plates. I asked our plater about the 6105 alloy. Said it will plate ok but the color may be spotty.

Re: best rigidity mods for SO2?

I'm ordering all new v rail for my rebuild. The 350mm of my so1 just isn't big enough. I'm thinking of getting the rail nituff coated and machining brass or olite bronze vwheels. Has this been done before?

Learn About BobCAD CAM Products

I have v21 bobcam and I still can't figure out how to use it.
Is there a cost efficient way to upgrade to a new version

Custom Harbor freight trim router 1/8 collets

I bought a hf trim router today. Going to be making custom collets for it. Is there any interest in me putting a for sale up. I've been working in machine shops for 14 years doing programming and setup. So these will not be made in a garage. I'll report back with pics and runout numbers Monday or Tu...

Upgrading original shapeoko to be more like shapeoko 2

I bought my so1 about 18 months ago. The mechanical kit plus stepper motors. It got put on the back burner for another CNC project (4x8 plasma table) up until last week. I got my gshield and remaining electronics as a Christmas present from my wife. I am a machinist by trade and I am going to be mak...
