Another option is waiting until Open Rail starts supplying metal v-wheels that are the same size as the delrin wheels http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/openrail/openrail-open-source-linear-bearing-system/posts/262093 Not sure how long this wait will be.... Wouldn't it be easier to get the metal v-wheels from the makerslide store and just use the shapeoko to modify the z-axis plate to fit. I got a message from Bart, and the makerslide steel wheels are smaller in diameter. The current plate spacing looks like 64.6mm, and with the other wheels it would ...

Wouldn't it be easier to get the metal v-wheels from the makerslide store and just use the shapeoko to modify the z-axis plate to fit.

Dust shoe for dw660
I previously was using a wooden dust shoe using IC's design on the wiki, but I didn't do a very good job making it so I decided to make a new one from scratch, and I like how it came out. Q

I wonder if you included a second delrin nut so that you can attach to top and bottom of z plate, then this would give a lot more axial support for the z axis. It would also in effect strengthen the z axis plate. What do you think?
