I hate say it also, I was even looking at a HD Shark larger cut area. I like the S3 but the cut area is too small for quite a few things that have come up.

I have turned the machine on and I have the Mac on then I plug in the usb and launch the software.
You can hear a slight jerk so to speak in the S3 when the usb is plugged in.

Where are you finding pricing? I thought this machine was supposed to be upgraded with only a small amount of parts. I don't think the steppers will even move that thing. I kinda wish I just got an x carve. Really not happy with this "easy upgrade". For the price I could of went with a better qualit...

I find the wiki to be confusing and not really searchable for the Shapeoko 3. I wish they'd just update on the forum even create a thread just for the Expansion update, disable comments on it. Let those be asked here

Yes, I made one. I soldered on a JST pigtail so I could leave a short end connected to the Carbide board all of the time and connect and disconnect the touchplate as needed. Once WillAdams got me sorted on the proper command to use with it (G38.2 Z-26 F100), it has worked flawlessly ever since. I u...

Hello,
I always start my projects with the x,y zero bottom left and would like to have the S3 go to that point
When I load the Gcode automatically. I've seen videos of some people doing this, but not sure how?
