Do the zip ties affect how the two pieces come together it seems that the zip ties may cause a gap issue and not allow the magnets to meet?

Just wanted to Thank IC for making his dust shoe file available and idea for cutting the foam for the skirt. I finally got around to cutting a dust shoe form my DW660 based on your design .. You were correct drilling the back piece edge and tapping for the screw is not an easy task... IMG_2202.jpeg

I have run jobs for up to 3 hours at a time and have not experienced any excessive heat from my DW660 it is only warm to the touch most times after long jobs. Hope you get the issue figured out...

Hi Edward, Thanks for the update I will give them both a try. The tinyG should be here on Tuesday, I am hoping for an easy transition as I have quite a few CNC jobs backed up at the moment, but it has given me the time to put together a dust collection system :) I will update this post with my adven...
