Need a couple of parts cut from Delrin.
Hi! I need two small parts milled from Delrin, and I was hoping I could pay someone who already has Deblrin on hand to do that for me. Here's a link to a blog post that details the conversion I want to do: https://0xfred.wordpress.com/2012/04/17/extending-the-mf70s-y-axis/ One piece is roughly .6" t...

Re: Fusion 360 CAM help
Ok, it's an issue with the older version of UGS I'm using on an old Mac. Opening it on my PC in UGS 2.0 seems to solve it. Thanks for your help!

Re: Fusion 360 CAM help
I seem to have messed something up somewhere, because when I open the NC file in UGS I get crazy arcs. I used the shapeoko2 post processor file a forum user provided. There don't seem to be any settings regarding arcs in this file. I have also tried the Mach3 file with Radius both on and off. Any th...

Re: Fusion 360 CAM help
Here's the screencast. It took a long time to process and upload. As powerful as the "Cloud" is, it's friggn' slow sometimes. I made a number of mistakes, hopefully they'll be obvious enough to ignore. I was interrupted a couple times and was sort of winging the whole thing, so please forgive those...

Re: Fusion 360 CAM help
I also discovered that my Z axis wasn't up in the model I linked to above. Apparently changing that in preferences doesn't alter existing models.

Re: Fusion 360 CAM help
The part is 6mm thick, but you want to cut it out of 0.25" (6.35mm) thick ply. Is that depth critical, or do you just want to cut it out of whatever thickness the material is? You could do a facing operation to take off the 0.35mm, but that would obviously take a long time with a ball end mill. Als...

Re: Fusion 360 CAM help
Hi Brian!
Thank you so much for your reply and offer of assistance! Here is the file: http://a360.co/1RbEC85
I do have a 1/8" ball nose end mill. It's four flutes, and it has a cutting length of 1/2".

Fusion 360 CAM help
Hi! I'm hoping some other Fusion 360 users can help me out here. I've designed a model in Fusion, and I can't seem to figure out how to create the correct toolpaths in the CAM section. I want to cut it out of baltic birch plywood 1/4" thick. The model is set to be 1/4" thick. Screen-Shot-2015-07-04-...

Re: Printrboard
I've used http://reprap.org/wiki/CNCGcodeController to control a rev d printrboard. It only worked once I flashed a firmware that was older than the unified firmware they use now. By worked I mean I loaded a job and was able to run it, but I didn't have any motors hooked up. Prior to that I always g...
