I use the boxes under the 'File' menu. They specify the radius (1/4" in this case).
But I'm not very good with Inkscape.

Re: Premature order
I'm certainly not in the know, but it could be a 3D printer, or a Laser Cutter, or attachments/retrofit for the shapeoko. Not necessarily version 3.0.

Re: My hand tap is broken in the MakerSlide
I broke the tap in my makerslide too. I used the instructions here to dissolve it : http://www.forkrobotics.com/2013/04/dis ... akerslide/. The tapped hole was fine after the tap fell out and I was able to finish taping it after I bought a new tap.

Re: Limit Switches - A Poll
Both. 4 wire and 2 wire. I'd be willing to use the 4 wire for the limit switches if that is all I could source. Not sure I would go the other way though.

Re: Limit Switches - A Poll
I have the micro-switches from inventables (https://www.inventables.com/technologies/microswitch), but I can't find shielded cable locally (that doesn't involve purchasing a 500' spool). Once I can source that I will install them.

Re: My GRBL pendant
I see you were able to make it all fit. What are the approximate dimensions of the box? Now the electronics fun begins with all of the wiring and hookups!

Re: E-Stop gShield and Spindle relay
OK, In summary: 1. E-Stop on the mains. Kill both the spindle power and 24V supply from the mains. 2. It doesn't matter that the arduino has power, this is an emergency and the machine and spindle have stopped moving, the job is lost anyway. Fix the problem, Reboot/reset/restart everything and try i...

Re: E-Stop gShield and Spindle relay
I want to use the enable spindle signal from GRBL on pin D12 of the Arduino, that will energize the relay and start the spindle. When I hit the eStop, I want the motors and the spindle to stop, or what ever would normally happen with an E-Stop switch (I'm new at this). If it's just normally wired to...

E-Stop gShield and Spindle relay
I'm having a problem figuring out how to wire up an E-Stop that will kill the 24v gShield power and the 5V signal to the spindle relay. I'm going to hook the relay signal up to the Arduino, but that won't be disabled when power to the gShield is killed. Any Ideas? I'm using an E-Stop similar to the ...

Re: My GRBL pendant
I don't know if I'm going to implement the joystick, but I want to see how you manage it. I think the using the joystick to jog the machine would be sweet. Are you going to display the X/Y/Z co-ordinates on screen? I like the fact you are making the enclosure on the Shapeoko, I haven't settled on th...
