Re: Project Shapeoko HD

I've been following this thread for a few months now, really like the way it turned out and the progress you made I know this was asked a while ago, but are you thinking of releasing the drawings or DXF's of the parts? I have a model partially worked up in Solidworks and wanted to compare to what y...

Re: Project Shapeoko HD

Ok, so I just checked UPS again to make sure the spindle for the SD is still on track for delivery this Friday.... To my amazement it got pushed back yet again to Tuesday of next week..... I can't say that I'm not disappointed. This fiasco with the spindle reminds me of when I ordered a drill press ...

Re: Project Shapeoko HD

Hey everyone, just another quick update here. We've decide while waiting for the SD's spindle to arrive (which should be this Friday according to UPS) that we could perhaps make emblem badges for both our machines and include those with all purchased machines. We feel that having a label of the logo...

Re: Project Shapeoko HD

Hey everyone, It's been a while since my last update on here. Things are progressing very well and we're getting a lot accomplished. Both the Routakit SD and Routakit HD finished their photo shoots and they're looking good. ;) The Routakit SD (standard) is almost ready for action, we're just waiting...

Re: Looks like the Shapeoko 2 has been discontinued

Interesting. It's basically an Inventables branded Shapeoko 2 with some interesting changes. I must say it does look pretty nice being mostly black and I really like how professional it feels. Not to shamelessly plug my offerings, but considering the price range I think the standard Routakit is defi...

Thanks for the suggestion, that would be a nice touch. We'll definitely consider it. :)

Re: Project Shapeoko HD

Hey everyone, We're working on Kickstarter related stuff mostly. Our timeline to launch is looking like it's March 16th at 9 A.M eastern time. We've had to push it back another week but it's for the best. Just a quick and random update on fabricating for the Routakit HD, I've decided I'd post some p...

Re: Project Shapeoko HD

Hey guys, I have some more photos of the standard Routakit. We've been busy with Kickstarter related work and working on beta kits, but we're making sure we find time to get the standard machine put together and running. Some hardware that we're using are stand ins, like screws that are too long or ...

You are making me want to get mine upgraded properly, but that is at the bottom of a very long list.
It's all good. My team and I are planning for Routakit to stick around for a good long while so whenever you're ready we'll be here with a kit with your name on it. ;)

Tnx,
We're looking at around 30x30 inches (~760x760mm) for the cutting footprint.
