Re: Anyone making 3D parts

Thanks damn guy. I missed that project thread. I have been doing some serious reading on these forums but haven't covered everything yet.

Just trying to plan a project log while I wait for all the parts to arrive and looking for inspiration.

That's an excellent project summary and gives me a good idea of what shapeoko is capable of. Rather impressive (the finished grips and the shapeoko performance.

Re: When is batch 2 shipping?

How long ago did you order? I wonder if since now the kits are shipping again if the lead time for the mechanical only kit has a shorter lead time than 3-4 wks. Or maybe they are all spoken for.

Re: Anyone making 3D parts

After posting this I found the "tail light block off" posted by TonyB. That has some 3D angles similar to what I was referring to. I don't have a specific project in mind but for exmaple if I wanted to make a hemispherical depression in a piece of material (wood, plastic, whatever), is the ShapeOKO ...

I would consider either of those options. Let me read up, thanks for the suggestions.

Re: BEWARE - Reactive Substance Web site - *ISSUE RESOLVED*

Hi EJ,
If I purchase a driver board kit and 3 drivers, what's the estimated ship date? I'm in Missouri, USA.

Edit: ordered a carrier board kit and 3 pack of motor drivers today. Can't wait to test it out!

WTB gShield

I'm just about to order a v2 mechanical part kit but wanted to make sure I have the electronics functioning correctly 1st. If anyone has a gShield they no longer need I would like to buy it. I already have a dw660, motors, arduino, and power supply so I am excited to get a motor driver board but the...
