Re: Another Laser Diode Engraving Thread

I have tried inkscape 0.91 with the laser extension with grbl 8c laser. With many errors and I believe it uses pin 12 on arduino to turn laser ON/OFF --- no PWM of laser power Have you used inkscape 0.91 with plugin successfully? What are the secrets? What grbl version do you use? Tnx :?: halfnormal...

Re: 2 Motors, 1 Controller

Huh? resistors? Where would you put these resistors? Actually a circuit on the stepper motor driver sets the current and another limits the current to the stepper motor(s). I have been running 2 Nema 17s off of one polulu driver on a 3D printer (RAMPs) with NO problem Two Nema 17 motors on shapeoko ...

Re: How do you which version of Grbl your running

I have used
GRBL 0.8, 0.8c
GRBL 0.9, 0.9g
GRBL 0.9g mod for laser

Have loaded now
GRBL 0.9i

all of them get better and better
GRBL 0.9i needs laser stuff added

0.9 and above interface runs at 115200 baud
