Re: $150 off Misumi Promotion
Do try to play nice with them; they are only just taking orders from individuals. If you make it too difficult for them, they will just stop and go back to corporate sales only again. Amazon did something like 2billion orders last year and they have great customer service. I should have known bette...

Re: $150 off Misumi Promotion
Update to my ongoing saga: To recap what I wrote earlier: After receiving my shipment, it was missing a length of 4040. I contacted Misumi, they shipped out a new one. Shipping was free, but I still had to eat the customs charge. Then a couple of days later they charged my cc for the missing part. ...

Help with calc/settings
I know what I need to put in for most of the noble belt calc site but some of them I'm not sure of. I can't seem to find the answers in the wiki Can someone run it through with my info and take a screenshot and post it for me to copy? The other question I have is, when it shows the feed rate of mm/m...

Cant get nema 23 to fit
I just don't have enough clearance between the makerslide x axis rails and the top bolts of the nema 23 motors. and now that the y axis motors sit so low, I am really concerned the idler pulleys are not going to keep much tension.

Re: Mid span support question
From those pictures he is actually attaching it to a 20x20 extrusion. In my head I think it would just be easier to bolt up extra extrusions or makerslide.

Mid span support question
I know this sounds stupid, but can someone show me a picture of how this mid span support attaches to something else for support? I am extending my Y axis to 1000mm. Can someone recommend what I should use to help keep it stiff? Should I just get two more makerslides @ 1000mm length?

Turn key alternative to gshield
Reading about some negative reviews recently about the gshield and the arduino controller I am hoping some experienced folks can chime in and help me out. I want to use a nema 17 on the z, and the nema 23's on the other axis'. I would like a reasonably priced more bulletproof driver setup that is pl...

A handful of questions
First of all, I am very sorry if this is in the wrong subforum. If this topic needs to be moved or split up please let me know, or do so. I am fairly experienced in 3d modeling with 3ds max and Sketchup but I am now moving into the role of needing to prototype or manufacture small quantities or part...
