clamps for extrusion beds

Hi,

What do you guys use for clamping the work piece when you use an extrusion as a bed?

I've seen some nice clamps in videos but cant find them anywhere online.

Thanks!

Barry.

Re: Enhanced Z-clearance motor mount plates for NEMA 17

I like it. The stock system takes more hands than I have to get right. Those are some nice Makita mounts you have there also. Thank you. I'm considering making a few sets of each for sale. Any interest? I have material on hand for the z mod, and have ordered some more 1/2" plate. But I will still b...

I have seen that many jobs require replacement of the mill bit during the job (for example to rough with end mill, then to finish with round mill). My questions are : 1. do you run multiple programs, 1 for each phase ? 2. how do you al...

Here's another type of holder for the Makita-includes a dust skirt, vac attachment, and an LED ring light which is switch controlled;
LED runs on 12VDC- an old mobile phone adapter

Re: Makita RT0701C Mounting Bracket with Dust Boot

Trying to learn Inkscape and the whole machining thing while I build my own... I took a liberty to create a version that incorporates my idea from earlier. based on Targus's design, I redid it in Inkscape, and made a couple of changes 1. bit diameter is now 1.25" 2. added a cross pipe of 1/2". if 2 ...

Re: Makita RT0701C Mounting Bracket with Dust Boot

Also, I wonder If im doing something wrong. when I import the SVG you mage into inkscape, and then draw a 65x65mm circle, mine seems to be much bigger than the inner circle in your shape. What am i missing ? (sorry for the newbie question)
